This is BY FAR the most difficult category that has been presented so far. The rules said that I had to be holding the camera for my kids shot - no tripod, remote, etc and I had to be in the shot with the child. That was NOT easy for me. Holding Annie in one arm and my heavy camera in the other made for quite the challenge. This is the best I could do. I almost didn't play, but I had to try since I enjoy this so much. I wish Lucy was in the shot too, but she was busy napping. I really am so content with my babies in my arms. Be sure and check out the other awesome entries for this week's competition at I ♥ Faces.

Great entry! I LOVE how yours and Annie's eyes just sparkle! Beautiful little girl with her beautiful Momma!
Beautiful...your eyes are gorgeous.
You look beautiful! After seeing that 500lb beast of a camera for myself, I can hardly believe you could hold it with one arm and point it at yourself to snap a shot! It's a shame that your killer arm "muskels" aren't getting the credit they deserve in the shot at well!
The first word that came to mind is sweet. Just so sweet.
Awwww! So lovely!! A beautiful Mama and her beautiful baby. so sweet!
OK I tried and it just didnt work out but I LOVE yours.. Ive been checking out the others and hadnt voted but I gotta go do it now! Your amazing!

It just oozes sweetness, Kelly. Love it!
i love the coloring you chose for this picture.
You are so talented! I always LOVE seeing your photos. They just blow me away. Will you teach me? Can I learn at your knee? Please? LOL
We need to pull SF closer to the MIDDLE of the country I think. ;) At least closer to Oklahoma! LOL
You are GORGEOUS! And so is little Miss Annie!
This is a very peaceful beautiful shot. The kind of picture that makes motherhood LOOK easy ;)The eyes are great. What kind of super heavy camera do you use?
That is a great picture! I think you really look like your mom in it, from what I can remember of a photo you posted of her. Very sweet!
If I looked as pretty as you, I'd take self portraits all day long!:) Great job. I love the color.
I shoot with a Nikon D700. Thanks for all of the kind comments!
Luckily, you and Annie are so stunningly beautiful that being so close your faces is a pleasure and not a problem! :o)
How were you able to take the photo with a dSLR? I had to use my P&S.
you are beautiful! :-) and so is your sweet little girl! I said the same thing about my self-portrait and holding the baby - tough stuff! :-) thanks for joining in this week - I always look forward to your entries!
I just held my camera as far as my arm would stretch and snapped away. It took several tries to get one of us in focus. Again, it was not easy and the camera being so heavy made it extra tricky.
You are so beautiful and so are your girls! I have to tell you that I love reading your blog b/c of your positive energy. Even when things aren't going well you have such a positive outlook that it's really inspiring.
