Today I am thankful for getting to help teach Lucy's Sunday school class once a month. It is so much fun for her to have me come to class with her every once in a while. I love to hear her talk about it while we drive to church. She kept telling Annie about how we were going to take her to her classroom and then momma was coming with her! I love to watch how she interacts with the other kids, participates at music, and makes her little craft project. It gives me a small glimpse of the fun she has at her school.

It was a busy day today. After church, we came home, I put Annie down, fed Lucy lunch, and got her down for an early nap because I had an afternoon session today. Our friend Ashley kept the girls for me while I had the shoot. Her daughter, Molly, is in Lucy's playgroup. Ashley had cookies in the oven ready for the girls to decorate when we got there. So, you know Lucy was happy as could be. She loves a project like this. Ashley said Annie did great, so I was really happy about that.

The session went really well. I will have a sneak peek up on the La La blog later tonight. When I picked up the girls, we had to go to the grocery store, which is something I despise doing but Lucy would have nothing for her lunch tomorrow if we didn't go, so away we went. Then we ate dinner and played with our neighbors, Steve, Christy, Ava, and their family. I rushed home to get the girls ready for bed and now I am going to work on some photo editing.

Poor Annie got about 3 pics taken today and none were anything special. Some days are just going to be like that.

Silly girl!

Cheesy face.

You've been doing so well in writing what you're thankful for day after day. I hope you don't mind if I jump in just this once.

Today I am thankful for my friend Kelly. She was one of my two friends who made sure to take photos of my Petunia for me when she went to the Que Son orphanage to meet her Lucy for the first time. Since then it's been a pleasure getting to know her better and getting to spend time with her occasionally. She's a fabulous mother to her two sweet girls, and I'm honored to call her my friend.

OK, your friends are SO wonderful. It makes me want to see Grace, Petunia, Addie, etc--very lucky are all of you.

The reason I'm back on is because I looked at the photo blog and your session today was awesome. That is one cute little pumpkin. Good work! Mom

The photos from your session are INCREDIBLE! Wanna fly to the scorching desert to take photos of my kiddos? I don't have it in me to even point and click right now. We could use some of your magic. I need to work on gratitude right now, so thank you for the positive post.

BTW, I HATE (yes, I said hate!) the grocery store. BK (Before Kids), I'd happily skip many meals rather than go to the grocery store, and we all know how much I like to eat. Darn kids, though...they need to eat. :)
