Annie 79/365

Today I am thankful for having a house full of family. My parents, Justin's parents, and my older sister and her two boys are all in town for Annie's baptism and birthday celebration this weekend. Tomorrow my baby sister, Katy (Seashy) will be here. Amy, Cayce, Austen, Jaksen, and both Adams, we miss you!! But it is so wonderful to me to have a house full of family. I love it. And another HUGE thanks for me is that Lucy and John have played SO well together the entire time. This could not make me any happier. In the past, Lucy has always had a really hard time playing nicely with her cousin, John. But today they have ran together, rode bikes together, and just played happily with one another. They are even sleeping in the same room tonight! YEAH!

Annie's birthday is not until April 1st, but since she is getting baptized on Sunday, we figured we would just do a family celebration this weekend. We aren't doing much except for opening presents and eating cupcakes, but she will love to be the center of attention.

I hope you all have an awesome weekend. Here are pictures from our blue bonnet experience on the drive back home today. Annie was such a ham. She loved the flowers. I am lucky I got any of Lucy because she woke up from a nap in the car when we pulled over and she was not pleased.

Ok, all of the sudden, she just looks 1!!! With the teeth, the hair (is it trying to lay to the side?) and those big smiles - she is looking like a big girl!

Love, M

Oh, I almost forgot about the bluebonnets! I haven't seen them around our area yet though. Happy baptism, Ms. Annie!

what a GREAT setting! This might be my favorite series of yours. I especially like the one of Annie where you can see a bit of a hill or it is cropped to have the landscape go a little diagonal. Beautiful!

I grew up in East Texas--and the bluebonnets really brought a smile to my face. Thanks for bringing back a lovely memory :)
