197/365

Lucy 197/365

Annie 197/365

Today I am thankful for my dad watching the girls for me this morning while I had a session and my mom played tennis. Papa is not normally in charge of both girls on his own, but he did awesome and the girls had a lot of fun. Lucy has taken quite some time in her little life to warm up to Papa, but she is really taken with him now. And well, Annie is Papa's girl. She busted out crying (real crying) today when she didn't think he was paying enough attention to her. As soon as he picked her up she was all smiles again. Cracks me up. Thanks dad! You can check out my recent work at the La La Blog. I have another session to get a sneak peek up and then two more scheduled while I am here.

I am exhausted. Really, really exhausted. I went out with a few of my friends from home last night and had so much fun, but went to bed late. Then both girls have a nasty cold and were up and down all night long. I had to get up early to be ready for my session this morning and all of this has resulted in me barely being able to hold open my eyes right now. Pictures of the girls were last on my priority list tonight, as we can all see. Oops.

Please, go to bed, Kelly!!! All the angels are asleep--so get some rest! The icky noses are a pain, but seems like all are happy, anyway! (Right now Kel is throwing a fit because my DVR is really acting out and she can't watch so you think you can dance properly.) I am going to have to have Lucy tell her not to act ugly. (which she did today when Kelly was doing absolutely nothing!!!) Love and kisses to all, Lee Lee

Dada--your baby is really working on moving from object to object--footstool to couch, back, etc. Is so proud of herself!!

I am a huge fan of your blog! I just have to ask - how come the girls tend to wear long sleeve pjs in the summer?

My 2.5 year old daughter likes to pull out the flannel footie pjs every once and awhile and I just laugh. She wakes up with no covers and the pjs half off. :)

That's so cute that the girls did great with their Papa. I'm dying for my kids to get time with their Papa too soon. I love that B&W of Lucy, btw.

Heather - the girls wear long sleeved pjs year round because I always worry about them getting cold at night since they won't stay covered up. They never seem to get hot, so we just wear the long sleeved ones all of the time. Lucy is a cold natured child. Annie would probably be fine in shorts.

Thanks, Kelly. After I posted that comment, I thought - man, like its any of my business what her kids wear to bed. :) I guess I found it ironic with all the heat you are having. Personally, I like to be nice and toasty at night myself and the fact that its two zillion degrees out doesn't seem to slow me down.

Bella is a sweater - her hair will get soaked with sweat beads trickling down her face after a few minutes in the hot son and then into the hot car. I hope she grows out of that, that could be embarrasing later on. My sweet angel, even as a 1 year old, would shove her long sleeves up past her elbows in the winter. So I guess that's why I thought - winter pjs?

Thanks for the reply.
