361/365

Lucy 361/365

Annie 361/365

Today I am thankful for getting to take Lucy to her first ever movie theater experience. Holly, Lee Lee, John, Wyatt, Lucy, and I all went to The Princess and the Frog today. Lucy absolutely loved it. She sat perfectly still and quiet in my lap the entire movie. I was amazed at just how well she did. She ate some popcorn and drank some juice. It was lots of fun. We have wanted to take her to a movie for a while, but this was the first one that I didn't think would scare her. She will definitely be a fan of the movie theater from now on.

I really can't believe I only have 5 more days to post. I haven't decided exactly what I am going to do next year. I will say I am not committing to posting every day again. I just can't do it again. I am really tired of knowing that I HAVE to do it each night and I would like the pressure to be gone. I do plan on taking a picture every day - just not necessarily of the girls each day. I would like to work on some more artistic images. We'll see.

I have been a follower of your blog for so long I can't even remember. I know it was even before you announced the arrival of baby Annie. My husband and I adopted from the Ukraine two years ago this December and that is how I stumbled upon your blog. I am also a struggling photographer and love love love your pics. I know I am a stranger to you but your pics put a smile on my face daily and hope you continue your blog. God bless you and your beautiful family.

I totally understand how hard it must be to keep up with the blog on a daily basis. You do have a gift for writing and photography, and I love checking in. . . even though I can't always do it on a daily basis.
Your faith and love for your family shines through in your writing! What a gift!

This year I think I'll attempt to blog once a week. Facebook has made me lazy and I need more permanent documetation. That doesn't compare to 365 but it is a big deal for me.

I'm impressed with your commitment over the past year. I don't blame you for wanting to take a break from that, but I'll be here reading either way. :)
Love the pictures of all the cousins in the tub. I love that young innocense, and love that when they're all teenagers they won't be able to believe that they all tooks baths together. ha,ha

I have loved your 361 blog posts so far this year and am kind of in denial that the year is nearly over. Your blogs have been a constant reminder of how quickly the days speed by for us mommies of growing babies. Thanks for the glimpse of your life each day and for reminding me to think of my own "thankful" things each and every day. Wishing you and your family the very best in the new year!

You know, I read this post yesterday and was all like, "Yay for Kelly!! 5 more days. Good for her. Almost done. She stuck with it. I'm so proud of her".

And then tonight, I replayed that comment in my head and the convo went something like this, "WHAT?? Only 5 more days? Now, 4?? What will I do without daily updates about Lucy and Annie?" ::gasp::

So, yeah. I'm gonna miss this. And yeah. I'm pretty much crazy. :)

I'm amazed at your dedication! I have decided to try a picture a day but am only going to post the pictures once a week. That way I won't feel weighted down by double commitments. I'm going to do a color theme - focusing on a different color every month.

Have you decided what you'll do with your 365 pictures? Are you going to bind a book or anything?
