Lucy 345/365

Annie 345/365

Today I am thankful for my baby sister, Katy, who is nicknamed Seashy. She turned 23 today. Oldie!! :) Seashy is one of the funniest girls I know. She keeps everyone laughing and smiling. Everyone loves her. I wish I was home in LR to celebrate with you!! We all love you. Happy Birthday!

Annie woke up from a really long nap today with her fever back. Both girls have been fever free since Wednesday, but poor Annie's came back and she felt very crappy. She did not pick her little head up off of my shoulder for about 1.5 hours after she woke up. The medicine took forever to break her fever and once it did, she got off of me for about two seconds. I can't believe that I got pictures of her smiling because she was so pitiful. This has been the worst that she has felt it seems like. Tonight when I put her in her crib, she did not want me to leave her. She normally goes to sleep in her bed on her own. I didn't want her to get upset at all because her nose is already so clogged up. So I stood over her crib and rubbed her head. She was so cute because you could just tell that it felt so good to her and she fell asleep in about 2 minutes.

Unfortunately, about 20 minutes after she went to sleep, she was crying. Justin went up to check on her and I heard him say, "Honey, I am going to need some help." I knew this was going to be bad. She had barfed and it was so yucky. So she went back through the bath while Justin changed the bed. It was mostly in her hair and it still kind of stinks even after being shampooed. Ick. It will need to be washed again in the morning. I am hoping that she just gagged on all of the mucous in her throat because her congestion is really bad today. Please do not let us be starting on a stomach bug. That would be awful, especially since Annie has been in my lap and coughing all over me all day long for 3 days now.

In good news, I did get some great sleep today and it made an enormous difference. I was asleep by 9 pm, woke up at midnight because Lucy came down to our room. It took me a bit to get back to sleep, but not as bad as it has been. Annie had a great night, so we all got some much needed rest. I am kind of prepared for tonight to be bad. We'll see. I hope it isn't too bad.

I am about to watch Four Christmases with Justin. I hope it is good. I love Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn.

I'm sorry to hear the girls aren't feeling well, I'll pray they recover soon! Lucy's little face is so precious in today's pic! She looks younger to me for some reason too.
