15/365

Lucy's head is getting a little congested, so she is not quite her normal self today. I love her little school, but I sure do HATE the germs that she picks up there. In the first picture, I asked her to smile and that is the look she gave me. I have kickboxing tonight, so I am on the ball and not waiting until the last minute. I made it 2 weeks - only 50 more weeks of a daily post to go. :)

Several of you asked about the hat in the last post. I got it at a children's store in Little Rock, but you can get them at Bella Jacks in Fayetteville as well. The tag on the inside says Lynda Hats.

I have to comment early due to Grey's and Private, and I played tennis, volunteered, and have been chasing dust bunnies ever since. So, I will be in my chair resting!!!

Great pictures. The one of Lucy crying is classic! And I also love the one of Annie talking to daddy.

I was reading the BellaJacks comment...you MUST check out Kaos. I just bought a Rolling Stones dress for Luci and it's freakin' cute!!!

The post nap look is quite familiar!!! Although...today, Gracie crawled out of her crib during nap,for the first time, and came walking down the hallway saying, "Hi mom!". She never got her nap...little stinker!

Lucy is so grown up with her laptop. I love the look on Annie's face while conversing with her Dada. Sheer joy and love!

Poor little Lucy! i hope she's feeling better today. The post-nap photo sure is funny, tho! I love that purple couch with her bright pink polka dot robe. And Daddy and Annie having a chat - SO darling!!

That's how my Lu wakes from naps too, nine times out of ten. Desolate, inconsolable. Only Elmo or Yo Gabba Gabba or Max&Ruby and some milk, and time, calms her down. Something in the name, I guess.

Better for little Lucy to pick up the germs now and build herself a strong immune system before hitting "real" school!

I own a daycare with my mother and that's a huge issue, especially for children who haven't been in daycare since birth! But even when we hire new teachers we remind them that they may find themselves getting sick more often than usual for the first 6 months. After that it's pretty much smooth sailing.

I'm sorry - just to clarify (because my comment sounded...odd):

I'm not saying that's cool that sweet little Lucy is getting sick. :0( Just that's inevitable, I guess (?)...

FEEL BETTER LUCY!
