Lucy 256/365

Annie 256/365

Today I am thankful for having a plan laid out for this week for dinner. This past week I actually took the time to think out a meal plan for each day. I made a big grocery list and knew exactly what I needed. I even had coupons! I saved $23 with coupons, which seems great to me. It is VERY common for me to go to the grocery store and wander around aimlessly and then end up getting home with literally nothing to prepare an actual meal. So guess what? We eat out A LOT. But not this week. It is all mapped out and I have every single ingredient that I need. Tonight we had Fiesta Taco salads and it was sooooooo yummy. I am feeling really good about my new found motivation to be organized.

My parents are coming back tomorrow to spend the night and then take the dogs home on Tuesday. We have a crazy week this week. Don't forget, if you want to order some Matilda Jane goodies, email me at lucyintheskyblog@gmail.com. The orders have to be to me by the time the trunk show is over at my house on Tuesday at 12:30.

Tonight when Lucy got out of the bath, I wrapped her up in a burrito just like we used to when she was a little baby. I could see exactly what she looked like when she was a little bitty wrapped up in her burrito. And then she made an exact face that she made in the following video. This was posted a long time ago - she is 13 months old - but I thought I would share because I barely took any pictures today and this makes me smile. Every single time I watch it. Sigh. Why do they get big so quickly. The "Hi Dada. Hi Dada." at the beginning will kill ya! If I were you I would only watch the first minute of this because I am terribly annoying in it.

And for a really good time, watch this old one. Her laugh is so awesome. I love old videos.

Those videos are awesome! I can't believe she has grown so much, but she looks exactly the same.

Tonight my pastor told me to not wish any of this time away--don't wish him older or doing certain things. He's right; they change too quickly. I'm so sad when I look back at video of Duc from several months ago and he already looks so huge. Sigh...

Sweet, sweet trip down memory lane with those videos. So fun to see them grow and change, but it's still a little sad.

I had a productive weekend. One thing I did was cook three meals yesterday, so we'll have an easy time fixing supper this week, plus we'll be able to put some in the freezer. I'm trying to get organized again, too. We'll send good vibes back and forth!

I remembered these videos, she knew quite a lot for a 13 month old baby, Lucy does not change much, she still has a crystal sweetest laugh ever.

I love that even at 13 months Lucy has that sweet, soft whispy voice that she still has now. It's the cutest thing ever!

planning our menu and shopping for it has changed our budget and how we eat. We eat soo much healthier now with me cooking 6 nights a week, we waste soo little and really enjoy eating out as a treat now. if you get into it, you will enjoy it. Good luck.
