Today I am thankful for a moment to relax. I have been on the go from the moment I got out of bed this morning. I had to do all of the last minute things to get ready for the Matilda Jane party (which went well and was lots of fun), then we had the party, then the speech pathologist came to evaluate Annie, then we fed the girls a late lunch and kept them entertained for a while, then I took Lucy to a birthday party, then we fed everyone dinner, baths, and bed for the girls. Literally, not a minute to breathe. I am so happy to be done with all of that. I really do not enjoy days like this because they are exhausting and draining.
To make things a tad crazier, I have hardly slept at all the past two nights. I have just kept waking up and when I wake up my mind starts racing because there has just been so much going on lately. Annie had a rough night last night and so did I.
Tired. Tired. Tired. Off to watch Biggest Loser and not move.

dada
It's been a long day here too, so hope you two are taking a rest!!! Even tho you two are pooped, the girls look like they had a fun, happy time!! Was fun to see everyone, just too quickly! Hugs and kisses to all, LeeLee
I'll be interested to see what your speech path said. We got the results of Elizabeth's testing today and met with the speech path as well. We are enrolling her in a special ed ECFE. The speech path doesn't seem concerned, but really... when is this girl ever going to talk? I just want to hear her say Mamma dammit.
I watched biggest loser tonight too, love that show... can't wait for SYTYCD on Weds... any chance you want to join twitter so we can have a SYTYCD twitter party?
Kel, you know I have my sleep issues too, and was taught this trick...maybe it'll help you too. I keep a pencil/paper near my bed, so when I wake up with my mind racing, I just write it all down. Once it's recorded on paper so I won't forget, I do seem to calm down a bit and get back to sleep a bit easier. Maybe that will help you too a bit. Loves!
