250/365

I love this picture of Annie. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is that I love so much, but I do.
Annie 250/365

Lucy 250/365

Today I am thankful for being 250 days into my project. I am seriously amazed that I have actually posted 250 days in a row. That is a lot of days people! We are quickly approaching the point of being under 100 days to go, which is just crazy to me. I have thought about what next year will be like if I don't post everyday, which I doubt I will. It is so strange to think about because this has just become a part of my nightly routine. It is never a question as to whether or not it will get done. It just gets done. As I have said before, there are definitely days that I wish I didn't have to do it, but most of the time it is not that big of a deal. I know that my photography has grown enormously because of this project, so I know it has been worth all of the time and effort.

We had a very lazy labor day. We did do a small bit of organizing in our kitchen, but not too much else. I did a workout video this afternoon that seriously kicked my butt and reminded me of exactly how long it has been since I have done any sort of real workout. It was crazy hard and I am normally pretty good at this kind of thing. Yeah, not anymore. I am WAY out of shape and my body is in WAY sad shape. It did get me a little motivated because it was pretty embarrassing. I must start taking better care of myself. Why does it have to be so darn hard?!?!

The dog in the pictures is Bentley. I got him in college and he moved in with my parents when I moved to Austin and he hated living in an apartment. Isn't he just the cutest thing? He is a Shiba Inu and is the best dog. However, he has a real problem with small children. All small children but mine. He is so sweet with my girls and I have very few worries of him being around them. I do make the girls stay pretty calm when he is in the same room, but he seems to be perfectly fine with the girls and I definitely keep a close eye on him. He is just such a sweet dog. I wish he could love all little kids. It makes my sisters a nervous wreck to see these pictures because he is not so calm and loving with John and Wyatt.

I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend and a great week!

Was just checking out the Matilda Jane website and I'm pretty sure that you need to be one of their photograhers...and your girls models. Are you working on that? That "trunk keeper" of yours needs to hook you up! I'm just sayin...

I tried to wait to comment because I didn't want to steal Lee Lee's thunder but we had a long weekend and I can't stay awake any longer! Hopefully she'll have posted while I was typing. If not, sorry Lee Lee!

I love the first pic because of those beautiful eyes! And Dada, I love that Bentley is sweet to the girls, but always be watchful. I think he feels like he helped raise Lucy, so maybe Annie will be ok with him too! Glad you had a good day, because you had to be tired from that hard trip. Saw Lisa and her family, Stacie and Jacob, and took Carol to lunch. All fun and good. Then this evening we went with Mac and Clyda to their golfing group of friends--all wonderful people. I rode the cart with Clyda and the little course here has gotten so nice.

Don't anyone panic about posting before me (except Dada) because we are in Kansas, and sometimes I pick up wireless, and sometimes I don't! So far so good.

Again, can't say how awesome the weather has been! I am going to work in the yard tomorrow, so hope it continues!

Thanks for all the help at the house, Seashy! I know you LOVED scooping the litter boxes!!! But, I appreciate it! How bout those Razorbacks???!!! And thanks for the good dog care, Kell! Such little pumpkin, dumpkins, sweetie pie angels.

Love and kisses to all, LeeLee

It's kind of sad, we only have 100 more days to see daily pictures, but admiringly, you have made this far, a strong commitment and determinations, so we can enjoy reading, and seeing your talented photography with your adorable subjects. BW Annie picture is mesmerizing, feel as if looking at a childhood image.

This is only the second time I've commented, but I had to tell you I love starting my day reading your blog. I'm so glad you've done 250 days. Your girls are so adorable and your photography skills amazing. I keep taking pics but mine are nothing compared to yours. Where do you get your prints and canvas done, if you feel like you can share.

You are right--that first photo is amazing! I love the texture you added. I have such a hard time deciding whether textures look good in my photos--I guess I am too much of a realist.

Strangely enough I was thinking about photography and your project and wondering how greatly it has impacted your skill. With all those pictures (250 days x 10 processed images/day= a heck of a lot of practice! I wish I was that disciplined.
