Today I am thankful for getting a few shots of the girls together recently that I really like! It is nearly impossible to get pictures of them together that I think are decent. What really makes me thankful is that I have seen some small improvements with Lucy and her feelings toward Annie. Yesterday they were actually rolling around on the floor playing together and Lucy shouted, "Look Mom, I am playing with Annie. It's fun!!" I am so thankful for these moments and hope that they start becoming more regular.
The strangest thing happened today. Justin and I took the girls to lunch at Chick-Fil-A. There were four families dining in there (including us) that had two adopted daughters from Asia. I only talked to one of the families, but I would guess the other three families had daughters from China - simply because of the ages of the girls. It was just so bizarre that there were so many families like ours, dining in, and all with 2 girls. Every time we looked up, Justin and I commented that this is so weird, but there is another family.
If there are any readers in central Arkansas interested in a La La Session, we will be spending some time there next week. Please email me at info@lala-photography.com to get more information. Last time I was in town, I got to shoot these cuties! So email and hopefully we can work out a time.
I took my camera to Annie's therapy for the first time ever today. She is so silly there and the most nosey child you could ever imagine. She has a hard time getting much done because she is breaking her neck to see what the other kids are doing. She is most certainly going to be a social little thing!

Dada--you rascal, you! I bet Nana and Grandy are so happy about how much fun the swing set is providing! Both girls look so happy! Glad we had a fun day. I would still like to be there at therapy some time. I think that it would be so much fun to watch Annie do her stuff. Love Holly and Seashy's past comments! I've raised some crazy people!!! Have a great evening. Love and kisses, Lee Lee
Not sure about where you're at, but at our local Chic-Fil-A, our adoption agency had a benefit night. So... if you mentioned the agency, Chic-Fil-A donated 15% of their profit to a specific special needs orphange in China. - So, many adoptive families were there, because they seem to be the ones who knew about it.
I love seeing Anners standing up on her own! She is looking like such a big girl, but such a baby at the same time. I look at Duc and her and although she is a few months older, he seems like twice her size/age because he is SO BIG. I miss having a little baby to cuddle. Annie still looks cuddly.
