219/365

Lucy 219/365

Annie 219/365

Today I am thankful that Lucy was almost back to feeling 100% today. She woke up in a great mood and was feeling fine. She still has a bit of a stuffy nose, but not bad at all. Nothing like yesterday. I am really happy about this because Lucy is not an easy sick patient. She completely falls apart when she is not feeling well. It is not much fun. At all.

We got up and going this morning and stayed busy all day. I was not in the mood for another boring day around the house. So, we were on the go all day. After breakfast and a shower for me, we headed to pick up a skirt I had made for Lucy. I have found the most awesome new store near us where the owner makes most of the clothes herself with vintage fabrics. Love, love, love. I loved the little top that Lucy has on but she didn't have a skirt to go with it, so she showed me all of her fabrics and made one for me with the fabric of my choice. Isn't that awesome?!?! I can't wait to see her fall stuff. Only a week or so until it is out.

After that, we went and played with the toys in Pottery Barn Kids. I was going to get Lucy a few of their dollhouse people, but was very unimpressed so we just played. They have the best toys ever there, I just wish they weren't so stinkin expensive. Annie loved the toys, too. Then we went and just walked around the mall and ate Chick-Fil-A. Soon it was time to head home for naps. Both girls took great naps and woke up in very happy moods. Yippee! I took them to the Arboretum. I wanted to get a few cute pics of Lucy in her clothes and because it is 2 million degrees, I brought their swimsuits to play in the fountains. We would not have gone if it wasn't for the fountains because it is just too hot to hang out at the Arboretum. I can't wait until it cools off some and we can start spending time there again. The girls had so much fun splashing in the water.

When we got home, it was dinner time. Then we all showered because I was so gross from being outside all afternoon. Not long after, it was bedtime. So, we managed to make this day fly by and have a great time.

Enjoy the loads of pictures and have a great weekend.

Practicing her percussion instruments this morning under the watchful eye of Ringo. Dada is definitely proud. Lucy used to think this was a painting of Justin when she was a baby, and that still cracks me up. This painting is quite ugly, yet quite cool all at the same time.

This look means: You have exactly three seconds to pick me up before I start wailing.

Next, I just have to say--you're sick. Sick. Very sick.
You should have very politely excused yourself from squirrel world!!!

Picks of the girls are darling, and I am so happy to hear how well Annie is sleeping at night Awesome! The Goose looks like my little gal in one pic, then like a big girl in the next. Makes me crazy! They grow so fast as it is.

Dada should be very proud of his little percussionist! So should Ringo!

Another HOT day, but a good one. Talk to you tomorrow. Hugs and kisses, Lee Lee

OMG LMAO at the squirrel pick LOL!!! I love all those pics... and gotta admit when I saw that pic I figured it must have been a cartoonish pick of Justin too!! We are buying a drum set for Kaden today!!!! Im nervous about all the noise but he is super excited.. they have to play something in middle school here so thats what he picked and I figure thats a lot cooler than a whole bunch of other things!! Have a great weekend!!

Hilarious! Your mom's comment made it even funnier. Ha!

And Lucy is looking way grown up. Sorry, but she is! I am way sad about Hope getting big. I had to buy her size 5 clothes today. That's just stupid. It is in a totally different section.
