313/365

Annie 313/365

Lucy 313/365

Today I am thankful for long naps for the girls! Annie had a rough morning. She was just kind of in a funk and it got worse as we got closer to lunch/nap time. She woke up from her nap feeling much, much better. She got about 3 hours of sleep and it was obviously much needed. I swear I don't understand why the time change has been so freaking hard this year.

So Christmas photos for my girls didn't go as planned!! Annie had other plans and if I wasn't holding her, she was completely flipping out. It is such a shame, too, because they looked so darling and Lucy was cooperating so well. Ugh. Maybe tomorrow??

In just a few days it will be the one year anniversary of us leaving for Vietnam for Annie. I have been thinking about it so much lately. That trip was so hard and sweet Annie's adjustment was so stressful. I am going to do some reflecting on it this week. For now, I am off to work.

Miss Luce looks STUNNING. Even though Annie was having none of it, the pictures are so good!

Perhaps I'll be inspired by all of your beautiful pictures and attempt to photograph my own children this weekend. Alas, they will not even be in the same league as these. And the ones on the blog of Liza? Oh my. Those are just to die for. I bet Kate flipped.

Glad you're having such a productive week! You really should pat yourself on the back. You've been rocking it. Not just this week, but for the past 6 months! I'm tired just thinking about it!

Well, I think the pics are great--but our poor Anners certainly would have no part of it! But, she certainly poured on the smiles after nap! The Goose looks very sophisticated to me. The dresses are darling.

I feel quite certain that I will sleep well tonight! And Dada, I am NOT dinking around. Have been quite productive today! Hope your show went well.

Love and kisses, LeeLee

Oh, they look so sweet! I had a session with my kids this weekend and it completely frustrated me! Click, one closes his eyes. Click, another one closes his eyes. Click, she's crying. Aghhh....!!!! Maybe I'll just take Christmas pics of my favorite houseplant!

Have you gotten your hands on any of the Stella stuff at BabyGap? LOVE!!!!

Oh my gosh, Lucy looks like the most beautiful little Spanish Flamenco dancer! So gorgeous.

Sorry that Annie wasn't in the mood to have her photo taken, her dress is beautiful.

I think this is the first time I have seen a picture of Annie without a huge smile. Everybody deserves an off day. They are still gorgeous pics. Take a minute and check out ericlevado.blogspot.com he took wedding pics for a friend of mine who lives in El Salvador. The colors made me think of you.

Beautiful photos! I swear those girls look like they are dressed for fun and dancing!

It is hard to believe it has been a year. Next month I will celebrate a year with Duc and I find myself reflecting on that time more and more and how much of a different person I now am. I arrived in Vietnam full of hope and anxiety and I left a mother. I'll never forget that.

Lucy's pix are GORGEOUS! I love her hair! I have been reflecting alot too on where we were this time last year. It is so hard to believe that we've reached this milestone already. I was just looking at pix from the G&R last night. Annie's progress really is amazing. Knowing how much you all struggled in VN has made watching her journey with you a real slice of heaven. My heart will always melt when I see her sweet smile. Happy travel-to-VN-aversary! XOXO Stacie and Ellie

You may not have gotten your Christmas photos but your girls look gorgeous and you did get some great shots. Love the look you gave each of them. Lucy looks like a model and Annie too, love both their dresses, how unique and pretty. May I ask where you got them?
