Great Day

Today Lucy and I met 2 of her friends and their mommies at the Arboretum for "Mommy and Me" Monday. The weather was amazing. The girls were so cute and happy to be there. Lucy played with the goats and sheep at the petting zoo. Then we walked around a bit and ate a picnic lunch. It was perfect. I love days like this. Today she woke up at 9:45 am!! It is getting later and later. Crazy, but awesome.

Want to see some beautiful pictures and watch a very cool project unfold? Go to The Sweet Life blog and first, admire Jen's amazing work, and then scroll down to the Sunday April 6th entry and read it. Jen and Mandy are working on a very special adoption project that is going to be spectacular. Most Sundays they will show the pictures of a family they worked with that has been touched by adoption. The end result of the project is going to be something that all adoptive families will want to own. It is beautiful to see how adoption creates families. Jen was voted the best child photographer in Dallas, so you know she is good. Mandy (Anna's mom) has had the vision of an adoption book for so long, and she is making it happen! I am proud to be friends with both of these mommas. If I were you, I would bookmark her blog so that you can see the pictures of families touched by adoption each week, but that is just me.

Here are the pictures from our day at the arboretum. Hope everyone has a great week!

Your photos just keep getting better, Kelly! I need a lesson. :) Lucy looks adorable, as always. she's such a little doll. We need to go outside and enjoy our weather, too. It's in the mid to high 70's in AZ right now, but it won't last long!

That grass totally makes me jealous. When Morgan comes home everyone will look at our photos and say "ooohh...look at the rocks!"

What fun! I just love those little pig tails like that. :)

Thanks for sharing the link, this is so neat. Maile and her family were travel mates of ours when we went to Vietnam last year. She is so precious.
