Happy Halloween!

I sure do hope that everyone has an awesome Halloween today and tonight! Lucy kind of got screwed this year and she is wearing her flamingo costume from last year. It is so cute and she didn't do any trick or treating in it last year, so really no one saw it. I will post pictures of that tomorrow. She practiced the idea of trick or treating last night and as soon as she saw the candy, she got it. Trust me, this girl is going to be beside herself when she realizes that all of our neighbors have candy for her. Here are some pictures from her test run of trick or treating. By the way, PLEASE go HERE and leave a comment saying that you think that the pink flamingo named Lucy should win!! Consider this a little hint as to what my secret news may be. Subtle, huh? Anyway, here is the flamingo in all her glory. Now, go vote for us!!

About the new blog and password, again, don't worry, I still haven't sent out the address or password. I am waiting a bit longer. Shouldn't be too long though. I have LOVED some of the guesses as to our surprise. I wish that it was that we won the lottery! I got a good laugh over the reality show or Lucy being in a movie guesses. Just so you know, years ago I did try out for Amazing Race with my friend Liz. I am still shocked that we didn't get chosen. Our video was awesome. Whatever, their loss.

I got some really adorable pictures of Lucy today. She has always loved playing in my shoes. I have written before how she is more than capable of getting on a pair of my super high heels, clunk around in them, bring them back to the closet, and change into a new pair - all with no assistance. Today I got some pictures of her playing. Have you seen the pictures Brad Pitt took of Angelina in W? My favorite is the one of Angelina and Zahara both in heels. Such a precious picture.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I almost cannot pick a favorite - she is too perfect! But that sassy, girly expression on Lucy's face in the one where her hands are on the door or window - that is perfection! Love it!

From the photo contest prize (a double stroller) my guess is a sibling for Lucy! YEAH!!

Are the pink shoes by JS as well? They are awesome!

Well, yes, subtle indeed. LOL. Ok, so you are obviously having another baby, but now I wonder... adoption or pregnancy? Hmmm, I guess I will need to wait and find out. Maybe it is twins?

The flamingo outfit looks even cuter this year! I am sure she doesn't have much recollection of it last year anyway.

Oh Kelly, just logged on after a little while and was devastated to learn that you are going to password protect and I might have missed the boat regarding being on the list! So, please can you let me have the password! I am a Mum from Cardiff in the UK and have been following you and Lucy since the beginning. I hope you consider me worthy!

I love the flamingo costume, and my guess for the secret is that your having a brother or sister for Lucy!

Oh my gosh, these are my favorite photos of Lucy ever. Just beautiful. Lucy is still adorable in her flamingo costume, even if it is a "rerun" of last year. :)

I think this is one of my favorite post of Lucy pictures! I am in love with her in those heels and the picture of her leaning against the window looking back is so Sassy! Great job on the pictures.

I thought maybe Lucy was doing some modeling but I now know you are having another little one. Are you adopting? Oh I hope you don't password protect your site. I love following your journey and Lucy and my daughter Madison are only a week apart in age. If you truly decide to password protect let me know...I would love to get the password so I can continue to follow you.

I absolutely love the pictures of sweet Lucy. I am a mother of 3 Korean born sweeties and have followed your blog for some time now. I got to you from other families that adopted through Dillon Int. and were adopting from Vietnam. I hope you will consider it ok to let me continue. I adore your blog and your stories.

That is the cutest costume ever! I totally made my girls wear the same costume as last year too! Glad I'm not the only one. I knew #2 was on the way! Can't wait to hear more about it.

So....I'm guessing that the "subtle hint" is that you are expecting twins?!?!?! I have identical twin boys (Brady and Drew) who just turned 11 last week (I'm WAY too young to have 11-year-olds!), plus we have a daughter, Ella-Kate who is 5. I remember the twin stroller well! Congrats if that's the case! I'd still love to be a part of your new blog, even though I'm not computer literate enough to have my own blog....hope that you'll still consider me!

Uh-oh! She's pulled out the coats! heehee. I love love love those shoe pics!! And those pink shoes are total awesomeness, just as an aside :)

I love your lack of subtlety! I think you've mastered the art of coming out of the closet without coming clean at all! :)

I love her costume, she looks different in it this year, poise, sassy, flirtateous, and like a model, i certainly will vote for Lucy, I believe perhaps twin is in the baking??, I can't wait to find out, good luck Lucy, I hope you will win, you are such a lovely flamingo.

it might not be a sibling but siblings for lucy.

if there was a miss sassy award, lucy would definately take first place.

I love the pictures of Lucy. You have such talent. She reminds me a lot of my oldest daughter. Sassy!! My girls were princesses for many years in a row. So we have reused many costumes.

I would like to be included in the new blog. Here is my email. elonda5@hotmail.com.

Lucy looks even cuter this year as a Flamingo and who would think that would be possible!

I left you a comment last week with my guess, but it didn't post. I was going to guess "addition to your beautiful family." I had thought preggers cause when I read your birthday post, you mentioned 2 naps and I thought at the time "hmmmmm...."
And then I wondered about what country you would adopt from since Vietnam is closed. Maybe Ethiopia??

Winning the lottery would be nice too.

Can't wait to hear the happy news!!
