So Funny

I have had the BEST time reading all of the comments on the past post. Most of the time I found myself nodding my head in definite agreement, a few times I thought maybe I could see that, and once or twice I thought YUCK! So funny. I have enjoyed it so much that I think I am going to start trying to think of a weekly question like this to see what or who my readers like. Any ideas on good questions are welcome. I have a few in mind already.

I promise after this post I will stop talking about Lucy and school. But I have to brag one more time. Today when we pulled up to church, she saw the playground and immediately said, "Outside playground. Cool!" Once we were parked and I was getting her out of the car, she spouted, "Toys, friends, and Mena." One of her teachers name is Miss Mena. When we got to her classroom, she actually smiled and waved to her teachers as I signed her in. Then she marched right in and joined in with the other kids. I was so impressed. When I picked her up, she smiled, was happy to see me, but was not quite ready to leave!! She didn't want to go to the car. Also, this was the first time that she did not want my to carry her to the car. She wanted to walk and examine the artwork that was hanging in the hallways. Can you believe the turnaround?? It is amazing to me. And a bit shocking. I figured she would be fine, but not this quickly. She is just getting so big. Also, I talked to her teachers for a minute. They told me that she does amazingly well with them. That she always follows directions, listens well, and plays gently and kindly with the other kids. I was worried that she might be a little aggressive with the other kids because I have seen her do this before. I am so pleased with her progress!!

Here are random pictures from the weekend. I really love the first one. We had a really low key weekend and it was great.

Ooh, I love the first one, too! And the second one. So cute. She's really changed a lot in the past few months- losing her baby look.

Ahh, just the kind of post I needed right now, you have no idea. My first instict was that c'mon, you have to share who you thought were the less, uh, appealing picks on the previous post - but then I went back and read all the ones after mine, and I shuddered at a few! But I forgot - Dermot Mulroney, yum. Not that there weren't other great picks I nodded my head to as well, but he I must add to my list. But I'm not giving up the other three I mentioned either. I will share Jon with Melissa, I believe we came to some kind of joint custody agreement on him some time ago. The pics are just so awesome, I know I'm so boring for saying that, but they are. And I am SO excited for you and Lucy that school is going so well - way to go Lucy!

That first one is priceless. I am loving your photography. I am an amateur photography nut. I take pictures of everything.

I had the best time reading the responses, too, even if a few responses left me a little, um, confused! But we're all entitled to our opinions, right?! :) Love the first picture of Lucy in the boots. She's so adorable.

I figured Lucy would settle in and do great at school. So glad to hear that the transition happened quickly. I didn't get a chance to comment on the last post. I don't even know the dude's name, but the guy who played Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice opposite of Kiera (sp?)Knightly. That's who I find so attractive. My husband would vote for Jennifer Connolly (sp?).

Wow, Kelly what a beautiful girl. I stumbled on your blog and have gotten addicted! I am glad to see you are doing so well, I often wonder about all of you that I lost touch with after moving away from LR. Anyway, congrats on your beautiful girl, I know you are a great mom! I have a 7 1/2 month old little girl!

What about your favorite reality show, or just tv show? That would be a fun question

Hi
it seem like every time we see Lucy's pictures, a new fashion trend is created, she is so naturally fashionable in her pose, looks, expressions, also her Mama is an incredilbe photographer. Thank you for sharing, I am glad the school situation is getting much better.

OK, the really important question, what brand is the dress she's wearing on her tricycle? It's so cute. It looks like Pink Chicken but I don't recognize it from their Fall line.
