Today was an awesome day at school!! She only cried for a very short while when I took her and within 5 minutes she was playing and having a good time. I didn't have to peel her off of me. She walked into the room herself. When I got there to pick her up, she was smiling and playing!! Her teachers told me that she had a wonderful day. They said she played so well with the other kids, engaged in all of the activities that they did, and just had a great time. YEAH! We came right home. She ate some more lunch with Justin and me and then laid down for the longest nap she has taken in well over a week. She has been a happy girl. She did get very whiny tonight, but I think that is just being tired. We started her bed time routine much earlier than normal tonight so that she would be asleep earlier. It didn't really work and bedtime has been so LONG the past few weeks. It has been a good day. I am not feeling so stressed and neither is she. Woo hoo!! I definitely think that the shorter day and relaxing afternoon were just what she needed. Thanks again for all of the awesome advice.

Sweet baby Ava. I need to take a lot of pictures of her. I am usually too busy hogging her myself to bother with a camera! Lucy loves this little angel. Today she tucked her blanket around her in her bouncy chair to make sure she was warm and she always wants to hold her. She also always wants to make sure that all babies have their pacifiers.

I'm so glad to hear she did better today! Lucy looks so cute in her dress and I love the photo of her getting squished by her Daddy, so sweet.
So glad your day and hers was good. I think you just have to follow your instincts and do what works for you and your child. Sounds like you are heading in the right direction.

Love the one of Justin on the slide - hilarious! One of my favorite moments of her birthday party was after everything was over and winding down (and we were still there bc we refused to leave a good party) she was so tired and she went to her daddy (who was so sick with appendicitis) and she just collapsed against him and hugged him so tight with her head on his shoulder and her little arms wrapped around him - oh it was so sweet!

Okay, call this nosy, but I really am just being curious...Something I've been thinking about in one of your previous posts, and I quote,
"We have some big changes coming up in our lives and having her adjusted to a few mornings of school a week would be a big help to me." Am I missing something??...Now I totally understand the whole privacy thing, and besides, we are just a bunch of strangers (who LOVE you dearly!!) and aren't really worthy of getting the scoope on the details of your life... But I'm DYING to know what big changes are in store!!

Im SOOO happy for you that the day went so good!! I had a feeling the shorter day would be easier for her and probly mom too! And I love that dress, Maddie has the same one!
Being without my computer for so long I missed all of the initial school problems, I am so glad to hear that she is doing better and I am praying that continues! And I LOVE all of the pictures!
