Feeling Great!

Thank you all so much for the kind comments on my last post. I really appreciate them. Lucy is much much better and back to her normal self. She seems to have one big tantrum a day, but I know that goes with the territory. She turns 2 on August 1st and she is just letting us know that she has BIG opinions about every single thing. At church this morning the sermon really touched on being patient and trying to understand where someone else is coming from and dealing with it in a kind and loving way. I thought it spoke loudly to me about dealing with Lucy as she is going through these changes in a more positive and understanding manner. I had gotten really frustrated with her lately and I think we are back on track. The sermon was exactly what I needed to hear. I was so tired this morning and almost convinced myself to just skip church, and I am SO thankful that we didn't. I know I was supposed to be there.

Did anyone see that Miss Universe was filmed in Vietnam tonight? I really don't like pageants but was flipping through the channels and heard them say Vietnam so I watched. Miss Vietnam even made it to the top 10. She was beautiful.

Today is the first day that I have had my camera out since July 4th - SO SO SO unlike me but I haven't felt like taking pictures and I know Miss Priss has not wanted her picture taken. I got some cute ones this afternoon. Lucy was so cute in her dress and then we ate popsicles and drew with chalk after dinner. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

My favorite of the day. I missed that smile and laugh so much when she was sick. It is so nice to have it back!

Kelly--these pictures are GREAT!!! And, I'm so happy that our Lucy Goose is back!! I hope that Lucy, Justin, and you are all getting caught up on your rest! I want copies, so send them to me on Kodak, or whatever! A little patience and kindness go a long way! Love and kisses, LeeLee

So glad you're both feeling back on track, you can tell in the pics she's feeling better cause they're fantastic! I love that you seemed to catch such a variety of her looks.

The green striped tongue is AWESOME! If it were mine, that's the one I'd blow up to huge size and hang on the wall...but I have odd taste, no denying it. I'm glad the cruddiness has passed.

I have been reading your blog for a while now and always enjoy your pictures. It dawned on me today that I have never seen the same dress or outfit on Lucy. How many dresses and shoes do you have for her? I am amazed at the cute clothes. Where do you buy them? I have an adorable 3 year old grand daughter and would love to purchase some of the outfits Lucy wears for her.

Awww - it is so nice to see her smiley happy self!!! Isn't it sad when they are just not themselves? Glad you found some patience in a most unsuspecting spot - its always awesome to get a boost right when you need it most.

So glad she's feeling better and momma found her patience!

I agree, our girls could dress like twins with their matching outfits. My Lu has this dress too...only hers is the copy version of the Lola. I got it through Kids Headquarters for $30! Have you seen the new Lola fall line? Yikes!

Good news that Lucy is better. It is so challenging when they don't feel good. When I first pulled up your blog/pics of Lucy, Sarah yelled, "Me!" I think it was the pigtails. She realized it wasn't after a few seconds, but it was cute.

Glad to hear that everyone is feeling like themselves again. There seems to be a definite look of mischief in that sweet face in some of those pictures. :)

I'm so happy to be back from China so I can check out your blog each day! I found it while there and tried so hard to leave a comment...Internet stinks accross the world ; ). Linhsey rarely gets sick, but when she does....oh how I long for my Linhsey back ! Sometimes it takes weeks! I'm glad Lucy is feeling better.
