Elbowwwww

Lucy still says several of her words in a nice country accent. Check out how she draws out the word elbow. It cracks us up every time. I just adore hearing her voice and she talks all of the time now. Still mostly single words, but a few more chained together phrases like, "Come on!"

Here are some cute pics from today. We had another beautiful day and really enjoyed our time outside. It is supposed to be rainy and cold the next couple of days.

wonder where she gets that accent from?! Ha! It's one of her "most luckiest" traits. You're getting REAL good with that camera Kelly! Those pictures are great!

Kelly,

The way she says "elbo...owww" is so funny :)

You take amazing photos too. Do you use a tripod ?

Sorry off-topic:

Did you see the video of this Viet-American girl playing organ:

(In case the link is bad, just put

She was around 6 in that video.

Now, she's 8 and was selected one of the 10 (under 18 year olds) American role models by Forbes magazine:

Also, you can skip towards the end of this video for her playing piano:

Lucy is sooo cute! She even does the little bottom lip thing that we Southerners do when we draw out a word. I have sat here and just giggled along with you on the video. She is just gorgeous!

awwww...It looks like Mia and Lucy are sporting the same hairdo. I've actually had to resort to using a water based wax to get hers to do anything while it's growing out. And what accent are you talkin' about? I don't hear an accent. She talks like everyone else down here? hahaa!

Hahaha! Melissa stole my comment. I didn't hear an accent. Of course, she and I live in Tennessee, so there you go. Honestly, I didn't even think about whether Petunia will talk with an accent or not until I heard Lucy drawing out words in an earlier post. I can't wait to see what happens in our house. Right now Petunia sort of snips off her words -- they're very quick. I'm more than ready to get the Texas and Tennessee girls together again.

I'm catching up on blogs today and included yours. Lucy is a cute talker and the video allows me to see her amazing growth. She is precious and I loved the cookie crumb. I admire your goals and weekly tasks. I am learning from you and must work on my own! I know you and Kate had a wonderful time on your Vegas trip and certainly deserved it. Coco
