Blankee Lovin Girl

I have written about this before, but I want to say that Lucy's love for her blankees grows stronger every day. She has two that she equally adores. They are the same blanket, just different colors. In case you want one of these magnificent blankets, HERE is the link. She has the Dot Velour Blanket under Classics. These are the softest, most loveable blankets I have ever found. We got the hot pink/orange when we were waiting for Lucy because it matched her room. The light pink one was a gift when we got home. Thank goodness we got that spare. She used to love the hot pink one more than the light pink one - that is not the case any more. She loves them equally. She sleeps with both of them and rubs on the satin edge. When she was throwing up a lot with the acid reflux, we had to hide one of them in case she got sick so we had a back up ready. I can't even imagine trying to put her to bed without one of them. She would flip out. They have to be washed seperately in case of an emergency where we needed one immediately. When one comes freshly out of the wash, she will snuggle it with such love. I thought I would share a few pics I got of her today actually playing with her blankets. She literally will play with them.

So cute - I know her ribs are really showing, but it is just the way she is laying. I think she has actually been putting on some chub lately. You can see in the other pics she is not so boney.

Goal update - tax organization - DONE!!!!!!! I feel so relieved. Seriously, I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that I don't have to worry about this. Watching the camera dvd and reading the manual tomorrow. And Lucy has been back to her sweet little self this week. I have been totally calm with her. I seriously have not raised my voice once since Monday. It has been awesome. So, goals are going really well. I love having goals. Why didn't I do this earlier?

Kelly Belly--good work on the goals!!! I miss that sweet Miss Lucy! I was reading a new book tonight--Skinny Bitch--it makes me not want to EAT or DRINK anything. Could not even read chapter 6. Very cold here tonight and tomorrow. ugh Come get our taxes ready. Got the kitchen quote today. None of us were even CLOSE. I had to pick Dad up off the floor. Not really! Miss and love ya tons. Mom

Don't you just love crossing things of the list! I LOVE it, but don't get to do it often. I'm thinking I may need to shamelessly steal your weekly goal idea...don't worry, you'll get all the credit. It's genius, plus it will give me something to write about! :-)

Love the pics of Miss Lucy and her blankee!

We love MY Blank*e too! We have the pink/orange dot and a brown/pink furry one. I'd love an adult-size one for me! =)

Great job on meeting your goals. I have a Nikon dvd that I am watching now. If yours is the same one as mine, here's a tip. Don't watch it at night, by the fire, with a cup of tea! Bad combo! =) Zzzzzzz.....
It does have quite a bit of info and helpful tips that the manual doesn't. Have fun!

Kelly,
What size blankee does Lucy have? I would love to get one for my daughter. She has several other blankets but doesn't care too much for them. It would be nice for her to have something for security, maybe that would help out with this aweful separation anxiety phase we are going through right now.

So so precoius, playing with her blankies! None of my kids have ever latched onto a blankee - sort of sad really!!

I got eat pray love this week. So it will have to be a goal for next week. Good job on your goals! You are really awesome about completing them. I just make lists and stare at them in frustration :-/

I just read your mom's post too...she just made me laugh. Very funny. I love it--"had to pick Dad up off the floor." Anyway, I just noticed how long Lucy's hair has gotten in those pics! She has the luxurious locks you've always wanted! Gold stars on the taxes. Be expecting mine in the mail any day now to take care of too. 'Kay thanks!

Wow, Lucy looks so big! I love seeing her love up to her blankies. Ava is nearly 7 and still has to sleep with her blanket that she has had since day one. :) It's so sweet.

And way to go with your goals!!

Thanks for saying hi on my blog!

I love Lucy's blankets! I got Tori two Taggies blankets, and if she likes them I will get more so that we can rotate them in and out... can't ever be without one, you know?

BTW- Lucy looks very sweet snuggling with her blankets.

I am with Nicky, it kind of makes me sad that Grace doesn't care about anything like Lucy's blankets or Lily Ana's stuffed animal. I can't tell you how much we missed having you here. We had a great time, but things just weren't the same. Hopefully we can get together soon.

Sweet pics - makes ME want a blankee! Mostly it makes me wish the tax organization fairy would come visit. BTW - you've been tagged.

I am definitely going to have to get Cole one of those blankets. What size does Lucy have? I can't decide what color I should get either! Too many decisions:)!

I love the new photos of lucy with her Blankee. Be glad her thumb doesn't go along with the blankee. With my son, I think we will have to take his blankee away so he'll quit sucking his thumb, and he's nearly 4! Hey, I also love the new header. How do you get the pictures up there? If possible leave me some directions on my blog!

Okay, I gave in to the temptation! I just ordered 2 of those blankees. I got the Navy/Tan 2 tone stroller blanket, and a solid red security blanket! I can't wait to get them:)!!!

Lucy and her blankee are precious! Oh, and that book Skinny Bitch is great. Although I am vegan, so not sure if it is for everyone.

Very cute pix. Miss Lucy looks like she's grown 6 inches since I last saw her. I think it's great that she loves her blankees so much. Petunia likes to hang on to a blanket sometimes, but she's not too particular about which one. Her little bear, Jasmine, is a different story, though. I actually went out and bought a couple of spares!

Congrats on accomplishing your goals. You're doing awesome! I keep waiting for the Spirit to move me, but no such luck yet. I was really hoping some of your motivation would rub off on me somehow. LOL.
