Lucy's Adoption Video

It has only taken me 5 months to get around to finishing this, but I am finally done with Lucy's adoption video. It is very personal, but I think it is okay to share with my loving readers, family, and friends. I pray that it gives hope to those of you still waiting and wondering if your adoption will ever happen. Your baby will come. I had to break it into 2 sections because it got too long to upload as 1 continuous video. So, watch the first and then start the second. It is long, sorry about that, but I just had too many awesome memories, pictures, and videos to leave anything out. Enjoy.

Oh Kelly! The videos are absolutely beautiful!

And you're absolutely right...I really needed to see it. Let's just say an attitude adjustment was in order, and these videos did the trick for me. Thanks so much for sharing!

Kelly,

The videos are awesome! You and Justin are such great parents. I am so glad you and Meredith met each other in college so that you could become part of our extended familiy and share this experience with us and all of the McNeils(HaHa)!

Wow.

I'm sitting here with tears running down my face. What a beautiful experience...thank you for sharing it.

My husband and I are also adopting from Vietnam and you are a true inspiration. I feel a "connection" with you b/c we too have chosen the name Lucy (a family name for us) -- so seeing your beautiful Lucy touches my heart.

Our process has been delayed a bit though b/c by the grace of God a local family has chosen us as adoptive parents. That child is expected any day now. We still intend to go get out little Lucy though with hopes of travel in early 2008.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your wonderful story. You two seem to be kind people with big hearts and lots of love to give this lucky Lucy. As an added bonus Lucy must have a mama with lots of style b/c she always looks ADORABLE and lovin' those big ole bows!

Sincerely,
Sara

Kelly, what a beautiful momento for you and Lucy to have. Inspiring and a joy to watch! Everything you went through seems like deja vu for us. Lucy is so beautiful! I know what it means to be blessed as you are. Congratulations and we look forward to seeing more of Lucy's journey with mommy and daddy and all those that love her! Thank you for sharing your memories and your journey. - Dayna, Mike and Hannah An Guizzetti

I am setting here sobbing! Wow was that emotional. I am so thankful that we shared that experience. I love you guys all so much and I feel like Lucy is my adopted (haha) niece. Wow look how far we've come since Vietnam and how big the girls are getting. I always knew Lucy was a smart girl. It seemed like that was such a long time ago, now it feels like yesterday.

Kelly Belly - John & I just sat here and watched both of the videos. He kept signing more after BOTH of them. I'm not kidding - he said "pretty" about Lucy. It was so cute. I didn't expect to get emotional, but man - that really got me! I was trying to tell John that I wasn't upset - just happy tears! Anyway, the videos are AMAZING. I didn't even know you were working on them. We love y'all,

Holly, Adam, & John
