HAPPY EASTER!!

Happy Easter to all on this wonderful holiday. We got up and went to church this morning and it was so awesome. The service was gorgeous and it reminds us of the real meaning of the holiday. Lucy got a B+ for her behavior, so all in all pretty good. She could not have looked any more adorable today if she tried. You can see from the pictures that she wore her pink monogrammed dress and her faux fur pink mink as it is really cold here for some odd reason. Weird weird weather for it to be this cold in Texas in April. I think it is back to being really warm next week again though. Here come the pictures, and there are a WHOLE lot, but she just looked to darn cute!! Don't you think??

Could someone please get me a barrette and Mom, are you seriously going to make me wear this thing? I feel like the Michelin Man!

Pretty girl

I will not smile for the camera - you can't make me!!

I better see what there is up here to get my hands on. I think I can make it up there!

Yes, I made it and there is a lot to see. Mom never lets me play in here.

Here is the actual Easter Bunny at our house in her Easter PJs from her Lee Lee. She actually really liked her ears.

I don't think that there ever was a cuter bunny!

A rare half smile caught on camera

I need to pick the perfect person/dog to deliver this egg to. I am going to think long and hard on this one. This is not an easy decision.

Let me make sure that it tastes okay before I deliver it. I would hate to not put something in my mouth first.

I think that Bruiser and Bianca deserve it - at least Bianca does because she is always kissing on me. Bruiser can have it just because I am a nice Easter bunny.

We got back last night from visiting Justin's parents at the lake house and we surprised them. It was so fun because they were so excited to get to see Lucy. We drove home in a big snow storm, which again, is the most bizarre thing ever for Texas. While we were there, we hit the San Marcos outlet mall. For the most part, I do not consider myself an outlet mall kind of gal. They are crowded and I don't like digging for bargains. Call me lazy, but I don't like how many of the stores are in total disarray and you have to sift through piles and piles for one cute bargain. This time was different, WAY different. First of all, the shops were awesome - Neimans, Saks, Barneys, Michael Kors for mommy and Gymboree, Osh Kosh, and Children's Place for Lucy. Let's just say that Lucy has so much stuff for the summer now that Justin swears she can't wear it all before she outgrows it. We can do it though - even if it requires 2 outfits a day. The kids stores just had so much cute stuff and the prices were so cheap that I felt it would be ignorant to not get. Dumb, I know, but it was like I couldn't help myself. I can't wait for the weather to be permenantly warm so that we can be in all of the sleeveless dresses. Fun Fun Fun!! Mom and Dad got some awesome stuff too. I will post pictures as we make our way through Lucy's summer wardrobe.

We really hope that everyone had a lovely Easter weekend, just as we did.

Kelly,

Lucy looks so sweet. She is just adorable and the pictures are wonderful. I'm sure she had to be the best dressed baby in church!

Happy Easter.

I'm totally with you on the outlet mall thing - they're totally not for me. BUT, the San Marcos mall is definitely the exception. It is amazing! Brett and I are headed there today to see what we can find.

Lucy looked absolutely adorable for Easter!

I will be heading to San Marcos myself next week--can't wait to see what treasures await :)

What a sweet little bunny! How did you get her to keep the ears on?? I can't believe the weather you had in Texas! We had similar weather in OK....after a whole month of summer weather.
