Let's pray she turns out okay. We will do just about anything around hear to get a big ole belly laugh out of Lucy. First it was me being a total moron, and then her dad this morning with the play frying pan. She sure was having a good time though. Can you believe how hilarious she thought we were?

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all!! Thank you so much for our troops and all that you do for us. We truly appreciate you!!

We had a wonderful long weekend. Justin's parents and his sister's family were in town. It was great to see everyone and Lucy got to play with her cousin, Austen. They were so cute and are almost exactly the same size. They would steal toys from each other, pull one another's hair, and all of the other usual baby stuff. Here are some cutie pictures of that babies playing. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well.

Outdoor Fun Time

The weather has been so amazing lately. My mom and I went and got Lucy a little pool to put on the back deck. She woke up from her afternoon nap and had no idea what a treat she was in for. She LOVES water and was very excited to check out her new toy. The water was cold and at one point her teeth chattered, but she just swam around anyway. She could have cared less that the water was cold. This summer is going to be so much fun.

Daddy's Girl

Thank you all for the really kind comments about Lucy's adoption video. I have watched it a million times and cry every time. The last song on the video was on the Grey's Anatomy season finale this week. Thought that was cool since it is not a really well known song. Justin is so great at picking music.

Lucy's Adoption Video

It has only taken me 5 months to get around to finishing this, but I am finally done with Lucy's adoption video. It is very personal, but I think it is okay to share with my loving readers, family, and friends. I pray that it gives hope to those of you still waiting and wondering if your adoption will ever happen. Your baby will come. I had to break it into 2 sections because it got too long to upload as 1 continuous video. So, watch the first and then start the second. It is long, sorry about that, but I just had too many awesome memories, pictures, and videos to leave anything out. Enjoy.

My Little Swimmer

Today Justin took Lucy to a friend's swimming pool and I went and ran errands and then came and met them. She was so adorable in her bikini. She loved the pool and her floating toy, but then she got tired and was done, as you can see. We are going to be spending a lot of time in the pool this summer.

Hurry Dad, get ready. Mom already has me ready to go. By the way, she was standing like that - not about to hit her bottom.
