Lucy and Her Loot

I did get an email saying that our dossier will be filed this week. YEAH!! I don't want any hold ups. Here are some more fun Lucy clips. Just trust me on what an angel she is. I still am just amazed by the expressions that she gives in each picture.

Her perfect little hands. You can't see the crazy long fingernails here, but they are SO long. Hopefully they have been cut by now.

Here is the hair that I know you have all been dying to see!! It is sooooooooooooooo cute and wild.

I told you in the group of pictures we got that she moves from calm and serene to totally mad and being done with the photo shoot. Here is the end result. I think she is saying, "I WANT MY MOMMA AND DADDY - NOW!"

Since I have pretty much nothing to report, I will show some of Lucy's most recent loot. We have mostly been trying to get pjs and just comfy clothes for while she is little bitty, but there have been a few times that I have not been able to resist and bought things that she will probably never wear or will be so miserable in that I won't make her wear it. Oh well, she is our first, so we are going to live it up!

Litte PJs from Baby Gap in size 6-9 months.

More Baby Gap PJs in size 3-6 months - they say for 12-17 lbs, so lets hope my little chub fits in them!

This might be my favorite thing in Lucy's closet. It is for next summer! Really, this is adorable.

This is the main thing that will be non-practical, but it was on sale and I LOVE it. Her very own faux fur pink mink!! I just hope it will fit for a few pictures this winter when she comes home.

And finally, I thought that this was so cute, so here is a picture of her diaper bag and a matching blankie!! I think that everyone should post a picture of their nursery. It is so fun to see other nurseries and get ideas, so once again, here is Lucy's room. I sure do wish she was playing in there now.

You are so cute, in the best possible way!
I love all of Lucy's clothes! Especially the faux pink mink.

I can't handle the nursey. It is beautiful!
I am so impressed. Our is where our 20 month old son is currently living....It is blue and has a truck theme(but not cheesy, not too many cute ideas there!

Clothes are so much fun! And that halter dress is to die for!!! Where did you get it?! I know it's difficult not to post pictures of your little one when you want to show her off...I'm sure she's an absolute beauty! We've decided against posting pre-adoption pictures as well - but it's just SO hard not to share! :) Thanks for the little snippets...her hair is great! :)

I love her nursery more than any other I have seen. I also LOVE that diaper bag- I was planning on getting it but my mom and a friend got me two (one is a Vera Bradley, so it's not TOO bad) and I couldn't justify it.

It's funny because we went bonkers on clothes, and I SWORE I would dress Grace every day, and now she lives in onsies. She's not really a neat baby, to say the least!!

I love, love that dress. Every girl needs a little black dress in the closet, right?! Pink faux fur is too cute. You'll have to post pictures of Lucy in her outfits.

Love the pink fur coat. Cute! The nursery is beautiful and the little pj's make me miss the days when my girls were that little. One of the best memories I have is of our girls right after a bath, all slathered up in baby lotion and looking so cute in their pj's. Pictures, you'll have to take lots and lots of pictures!

Her room is beautiful and those little "teaser" pictures are great!

Take care!

Hi Kelly,

My prayers and thoughts are with you as you wait to adopt your baby. My husband and I are in India to adopt our baby boy Dante but because of the red tape are held up and can't bring him home yet. We do get to see hime but it hurts that we can't take him with us yet.

I would love to have you post a link to my blog on your blog. And I would love to put a link to your blog on mine. My blog is http://hamarabeta.blogspot.com/

Hamara beta means our son in Hindi.

She looks so tiny and that hair, oh my how cute. Oh yeah, and the nursery, If I didn't already have a color scheme I would be copying yours. :)
