Today I am thankful to be back home, have had a painless drive home, and for getting some rest last night. I still didn't sleep great, but in comparison, it was much, much better. I got up early and threw the girls in the car. We were on the road by 6:30 and home by 11, so that was nice. The girls were thrilled to see Justin and all of their stuff again. Right now I am listening to Justin putting Lucy to bed in her room and it is constant laughter out of both of them. I love being the outsider at times like this. It makes my heart happy.
We have a big weekend coming up. Both sets of grandparents will be here and we are having Lucy's birthday party! Cayce, Adam, Austen, and Jaksen will be here as well. We can't wait to see everyone and Lucy is BEYOND excited about the fact that it is finally her turn to have a birthday. She wants everyone's birthday to be her special day. Aunt Sheryl, if you read this, we got your puzzle today and Lucy was so pumped. She told me that Aunt Sheryl always does a good job picking out presents because she LOVES puzzles. I thought that was pretty cute. Also, her little face just lit up over the princess card! :)
Annie is a pro behind the walker now. She is just pleased as punch with herself about it, too. In the past few days, she has started taking a few steps. They usually end in her diving forward, but there is generally a couple of controlled steps now without holding on to anything. I remember when Lucy started doing this and it really wasn't that long before she was on the go. Can you believe it? Before long my Anners is going to be walking. Look out world. Here she comes!
She waves at everyone and everything. Almost every time I look at her she is waving to someone, even if they aren't looking. Sweetness.

My heart fills with joy when I look at those two darling angels. I am so happy that the trip home was painless and that you arrived safely. It is somewhat cleaner around here, but much too quiet. Made Papa some mashed potatoes to go with his chicken and noodles. I just had salad with mine. carbs carbs carbs Much love to all. Lee Lee
I LOVE that picture of Annie pushing her walker and waving!!! TOO CUTE:)!!!!!
Go Annie, Go! Watch out world is right! You are going to be one busy Mama when that girl really gets going! Maybe the sheer exhaustion will help you with your sleep issues- ha! That sucks, by the way. I also have sleep issues and it is the WORST!
oh yes, that Annie is the epitamy of sweetness!
I can't wait to see pics of Lucy's b'day and party!
glad you made it home safe.
"Pleased as punch?" you turn more and more into Lee everyday.
Aw, a girl after his own heart- Aiden loves to wave at everyone and everything. He even pushes that same walker even though he can walk.
I can't believe Lucy will be three- wow!
Okay, the wave is just precious!
Love my "daily looks" at my little nieces who are growing so fast since I saw them in May.
Hey Lucy, have a good time putting the puzzle together! Happy Birthday to you. Aunt Sheryl
