I love this picture of Lucy because she is looks like a baby in it, which never happens anymore.
Today I am thankful for days when I get the pictures of the girls done before their nap and then can get them all ready to go while they are napping. When I am able to do that, this project is a breeze. Unfortunately, this does not happen most days. But today was one of those days. Love it.
We had another great day. We met our playgroup at the best neighborhood pool I have ever been to. The kids area is HUGE. It has a giant kid pool that only gets to 2 feet deep and it has the gradual entrance so the babies and moms could sit on that part. All of the babies were splashing and crawling around. It was great for them. And we didn't have to worry about the bigger kids since it was only two feet deep. I still went ahead and put Lucy's floaties on her just in case she tripped. I didn't want her to get freaked out if she went under. Lucy loved the gradual entrance as well. She would run full force from the start down into the deeper water. Also in the kids area is a fabulous spray park. All of the kids were running through the fountains/sprayers. Annie was a little scared at first, but by the end, she was seriously fearless. She would let the sprayers spray right into her face and she was loving the pool. She was a maniac almost the entire time we were there. We ate lunch there and then played some more.
We didn't get home for naps until about 1:45. Annie was dead asleep in her carseat before we even got out of our parking place. I moved her to her bed and she proceeded to nap for 4 HOURS!! She was asleep by 1:35ish and I had to wake her up at 5:30 because I was quite certain that 4 hours was enough. She obviously didn't go to bed at her normal 7, but at 8 she went right down. I need to take her there everyday. Seriously.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
I would have liked to have taken more pictures, but it was scary to have my camera around all of this water and when we were in the pool, there was obviously no way it would be possible.
This girl is trouble. She is in. to. everything! She literally hauls butt to get to the dishwasher when she hears me open it.

Everyone deserves at least ONE who gets into everything. It makes those of us with multiple destructos feel better!!!! Destructo & Destructo, Jr. made sure she got the memo on how to drive her mother crazy while trying to load or unload the dishwasher. HA! Beware - Wyatt's 2nd lesson was regarding bathroom & kitchen drawers. You might even have to put breakable items up higher in your house. Still amazes me that Lucy never touched that stuff. The girls are looking so cute, and that pool is amazing!
Fun, fun, fun! I really miss you guys.
I wouldn't call ANY of my grand babies Destructo!!! A little busy, maybe..... The park looks fab. Wish we had one here like that. Pics are great, looks like they LOVED all the sprayers, which may I say on such a hot day would have been cool. No wonder big naps after working that hard at having fun. And, can't we all use a little help loading/unloading the dishwasher?? Love and kisses, Lee Lee
I had to laugh when you posted about the dishwasher. I have to empty it during naptime because Bennett can hear me open it from the other side of the house and he just LOVES to help me empty it. LOL!!!
Hi! I ran across your blog from the 'We picture this' site. Love your photos. I have a passion for photography to, and shoot with a Nikon. I love to learn from others in the blogging community and will look forward to exploring your beautiful work more! Just thought I'd say hi! And you have adorable girls by the way :) Blessings from Angie. {Feel free to check out my blog if ya want!}
What is it with the dishwasher and kids? I only wish those doors were build to handle 20+ lbs sitting on it!
That water park looks so fun! I'm insanely jealous. Wish we had something like that in the 'burg. The pictures of the girls in the water almost make me feel cooled off myself...almost.
The picture of Annie with the dishwasher is too cute. Definitely looks like she's been caught doing something.
These pictures are SO cute!!! I LOVE every single one!! Now come on up to Faye!! :)

P.S. We use to have that blondie dress!! Still have the Jimi Hendrix one...in a 2 if you are interested...
LOVE THE PICTURE OF ANNIE WHEN THE WATER IS SHOOTING UP IN FRONT OF HER. HER HAIR IS REALLY GETTING LONG. SHE IS SOOO PRECIOUS. LOVE BOTH THOSE PRECIOUS GIRLS.
