Today I am thankful that someone is actually coming to look at our house tomorrow. A few people asked what was going on with our house being on the market and the answer has been nothing. A whole lotta nothing. It has been on the market for a long time - 10 months with little activity - especially in the past 3-4 months. No one ever even comes to look at it. There are so many houses in our neighborhood that are being given away, and we are not going to give our house away because we can afford to wait out this down market. We have lowered the price several times, but we are at our rock bottom that we are willing to list it for, so if it doesn't sell soon, we will just take it off the market for a while. Having said all of this, I predicted this summer that nothing would happen with our house until I put up all of our Christmas decorations and then someone would want it - making a whole lot more work for us all during an already hectic time. So, I told Justin today that I am fully prepared for these people to make an offer on the house. We'll see. I hope they do, but I hope that they don't want to close until mid-January!! Wouldn't that be crazy if it did happen though?!?!
We took the girls to Santa today. Lucy has been talking big that she was going to not cry this year and that she had several questions for Santa. First, she wanted to make it very clear that she wants a Leapster and a football from him. Second, she wanted to know where in the world the reindeer were if he was at the mall. Third, she wanted to know what kind of cookies he wanted her to leave him. And finally, she wanted to make it clear that she thought a doll would be the best gift for Annie. Pretty impressive list of things that she came up with on her own to discuss. Justin and I both for sure thought she would end up crying and not want to talk to Santa. We were so wrong. She marched right up there, got in his lap, and very quietly talked with him. It was so cute. I knew there was no way Annie would even consider sitting on his lap and she started crying when we walked Lucy up, so I didn't put her through the torture of sitting with him. She watched from a distance. This was a big deal for Lucy to be so brave, so Justin and I are extremely proud of her. We have the best Santa at our mall ever and it is always a huge ordeal to get in to see him, so we did it early this year and I am so thankful that we did.
I have a maternity session in the morning and then one more session the next week and then I am all done. Yipppppeeee! I still have a few more orders to come in, but I really am almost done. What a great feeling that is!
Santa had to listen very closely because she was talking so quietly.

First!!!!!!!!!!!! LeeLee
OK, now that last picture almost made me tear up, because I KNOW how quietly Lucy visits, how intently I listen, so I am very proud of Santa for really listening to our Goose! Hope she got answers for her questions--did she? Also, can't believe that Anners got to have another day of piggies!! Love it! So glad that she was so brave. Actually working on my cards. Guess you're proud of me, too!! Love and kisses to all, LeeLee
Best Santa Picture. EVER. It would be so cute to blow it up and hang it up during Christmas time.
AWWWW! Love that NP Santa SO MUCH! This reminds me that we need to schedule our Santa visit soon!
Wanted you to know that the kids tore into your christmas card tonight and Sam LOVED it! Lots of questions about who those pretty little girls were ;) Gorgeous job!
Thanks for including us on the list! Guess this means I should go ahead and actually DO ours ;)

Best Santa pictures, ever. Ever! Love them!
I just had to say BEST Santa pictures ever!! You caught such a sweet interaction instead of the cheesy smiles!!
That last picture looks like it is out of a storybook! I am so proud of Lucy for being such a brave girl...I was always one to talk big and chicken out when it came to it (still am a bit)! And got the card yesterday...GORGEOUS! Just love those little dumplings!
Lucy looks so tiny on Santa's lap! I had begun to think she was a big girl since it sounds like she is getting so grown up. Annie is ridiculously cute in the little piggie tails!!
That is to sweet! I cant wait to see your preggers session!!
these pictures look precious!
OMG! Those pictures with Santa are just the most precious ever! So proud of your girl. I bet Santa would love copies of those pictures for himself... precious!
Sophie is talking big too... we shall see when we get there next week.
That is a very sweet picture of Santa and Lucy, it should be used as the book cover for children Christmass story book.
Oh my gosh, how totally adorable of Lucy - and yes, that last pic is just too much sweetness!
Ok, you know I don't mean this at all in an ignorant, oh-they-all-look-alike way, but I had to do double-takes on both those pictures of Annie tonight thinking they were Lucy. Maybe the pigtails? I mean, obviously Lucy looks much older, and I SWEAR I'm sober, though tired, and my eyes played tricks on me both times. Is that dumb of me to say and to tell you? I just thought it was so cute. Those girls, such cutie-pies!
Oh my goodness! You have the BEST Santa!!! I think that has to be the real one!!! These are truly adorable pics. Good luck with the house :)
Have you ever thinking about writing a children story book? Your stories are always amazing. Your photographs are perfect. Use Lucy & Annie for book cover. You are set! :)
Annie getting realy tall and sooo cute.
SO wish we could have taken our own pictures of Santa this year! Your pictures are gorgeous!!!
Our mall won't let you use your own camera "for the safety of others and Santa and the staff." How a camera can be unsafe, I have NO idea!
Are you going to post a picture of the infamous Christmas Card people have been commenting about? I love seeing other people's cards and am VERY curious to see yours since so many people have talked about it now!
LOVE the pics as they make memories flood back of Hannah & Katie on that very lap!! A wonderful tradition with the most wonderful Santa. He is the BEST listener, and continues that when he's not at the North Pole at North Park, as he's a psychologist in Austin. Thanks for always sharing - this one was extra special!!
I haven't commented in a while, but I just had to today, because I love that last picture so much! And Annie looks more than cute with her pigtails. Would you share your christmas cards pictures with us? I would love to see them, obviously, since I love all of your pictures.
I'll cross my fingers for your house to sell :-)
Many greetings from Germany,
Ronja
Those pictures of Lucy with Santa look like they're from a movie. The light is amazing! Good looking Santa ya got there!
I was thinking I'd comment that someone would want your house all decorated for Christmas when I read that first sentence that someone was coming to look at it. It's amazing all the time but particularly at Christmas! I hope it sells!
