Today Lucy is 10 months old. Only 2 more to go until she is a year old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. We got Lucy 3 days before she was 5 months old, so we have officially had her now longer than she was in the orphanage. She is thriving and growing and doing amazingly well. I am always in awe of how well these babies do given what they have been through in their short little lives. Here is Lucy's 10 month run down.
-She is the speediest crawler around. Everyone always comments on how fast she is.
-She can stand unassisted for 5-10 seconds, but only when she doesn't realize that she is doing it.
-She has 4 teeth.
-She sleeps through the night (8 pm to 7:30 or 8 am) and takes 2 naps (they vary in length from day to day but are usually about an hour to an hour and a half each).
-She is very attached to me and has started with the separation anxiety when I am out of her sight. She also loves her daddy dearly.
-She is still so busy and absolutely fearless. She is still a climber and loves to get on top of anything she can.
-She adores being outside and preferably in water.
-She still eats predominantly baby food, but she is eating a lot more big people food lately. She is getting really interested in what we are eating now.
Now, here are a ton of pictures from today. My dad and brother in law are playing in a golf tournament, so we got some great family pictures. She was just too cute for words today, as always, but we have the added bonus of cousin John!!
Lucy playing with a ride on toy that was my sister's and mine.
Cousin John showing Lucy how to ride.
Happy girl!
Bath time with John - she had so much fun because she has never had a playmate in the tub.
Chillin' on Lee Lee's bed in my daisy dukes.
Is this not the most hilarious outfit?
My hair is in a sprout!!
I am ready to swim. Where is my suit?
Splashin around!!
My pumpkin!!
Hey Lucy, I am going to swim with you, okay?
This might be the cutest swimsuit ever.
All soaked.

Typo...I hate that! Let's do it again! "So cute...that's all I can SAY...she's so darn cute! Happy 10 months Lucy!" Ok, I feel better...sorry!
She gets cuter and cuter! I love the sprout--totally adorable! Her cousin is precious too.
I love, love, love the sprout ponytail - that will have to make some repeat appearances I think!
Happy 10 months, Lucy!! I love all the pictures and can't wait to see you again. Hopefully, this summer????....
What an astonishingly beautiful family you have. Happy birthday, Lucy!

I love the sprout style!!!! as usual, Lucy is to cute!!!!!!
It looks like I am not alone in loving the "sprout" style hair!
Kelly,
Get out of here, she is TOO CUTE! That "my pumpkin" picture is the best...wow does she look like a big girl there. That is one of those pictures that gives you a glimpse of what she will look like when she gets older. Justin, you better install some mighty big locks on your doors because the boys will be trying to knock them down!
Love,
Sara
Aww, you and your sisters are beautiful. You can really see the resemblence!!! And of course Lucy is adorable and I love the update! Sprouts are the best!
I can't believe she is getting. And she is prettier and sweeter each time I see her. Happy birthday Lucy. I love your new hairdo.
She is absolutely precious! I just came across your blog. One of my friends is just starting the adoption process in Vietnam. I thought I'd link you so she'd have pictures to drool over as she waits! Do you know any families that have gone though Commonwealth and have a blog? Thanks for letting me peak in and see your beautiful girl!
Sorry, I realized that my account doesn't leave my blog so that you could respond if you wanted. . .
