A Bit Off Schedule

Lucy had a few weird nights this week. She was up three nights in a row for some where between 1.5 and 3 hours each night. Just wide awake and ready to play. Not upset, just not wanting to be in her bed. I put her in bed with me, hoping that would work, but that was just more reason to play for her. Thankfully, last night she slept normally through the night without any excitement. She has never done this before, so it was nice to be back to normal last night.

Here are some more pictures of the fun times we had with cousin John.

Lucy and John checking out their new ride.

Could somebody help me please?

I have run into the wall.

Enjoying the grass

Can you believe that she is crawling on this very rough rock driveway? We couldn't keep her off of it.

Taking my daily swim.

Happy 10 Months!!

Today Lucy is 10 months old. Only 2 more to go until she is a year old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. We got Lucy 3 days before she was 5 months old, so we have officially had her now longer than she was in the orphanage. She is thriving and growing and doing amazingly well. I am always in awe of how well these babies do given what they have been through in their short little lives. Here is Lucy's 10 month run down.

-She is the speediest crawler around. Everyone always comments on how fast she is.
-She can stand unassisted for 5-10 seconds, but only when she doesn't realize that she is doing it.
-She has 4 teeth.
-She sleeps through the night (8 pm to 7:30 or 8 am) and takes 2 naps (they vary in length from day to day but are usually about an hour to an hour and a half each).
-She is very attached to me and has started with the separation anxiety when I am out of her sight. She also loves her daddy dearly.
-She is still so busy and absolutely fearless. She is still a climber and loves to get on top of anything she can.
-She adores being outside and preferably in water.
-She still eats predominantly baby food, but she is eating a lot more big people food lately. She is getting really interested in what we are eating now.

Now, here are a ton of pictures from today. My dad and brother in law are playing in a golf tournament, so we got some great family pictures. She was just too cute for words today, as always, but we have the added bonus of cousin John!!

Lucy playing with a ride on toy that was my sister's and mine.

Cousin John showing Lucy how to ride.

Happy girl!

Bath time with John - she had so much fun because she has never had a playmate in the tub.

Chillin' on Lee Lee's bed in my daisy dukes.

Is this not the most hilarious outfit?

My hair is in a sprout!!

I am ready to swim. Where is my suit?

Splashin around!!

Hey Lucy, I am going to swim with you, okay?

This might be the cutest swimsuit ever.

She is being raised by a gang of morons!!

Let's pray she turns out okay. We will do just about anything around hear to get a big ole belly laugh out of Lucy. First it was me being a total moron, and then her dad this morning with the play frying pan. She sure was having a good time though. Can you believe how hilarious she thought we were?

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all!! Thank you so much for our troops and all that you do for us. We truly appreciate you!!

We had a wonderful long weekend. Justin's parents and his sister's family were in town. It was great to see everyone and Lucy got to play with her cousin, Austen. They were so cute and are almost exactly the same size. They would steal toys from each other, pull one another's hair, and all of the other usual baby stuff. Here are some cutie pictures of that babies playing. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well.
