Babies are everywhere in my life right now. Cayce just had her little one. My very close friend and neighbor, Christy, had her daughter this afternoon. And I just have lots of friends who are pregnant right now. It is exciting. I will post pictures of Christy and Steve's little angel, Ava Catherine, in my next post. She is gorgeous, and I made it back from Cayce's just in time for her birth. I got to see Miss Ava for just a few minutes right after she was born. I can't wait to see her tomorrow. Steve and Christy live right next to us so we will see lots of Ava.
I am so tired. Early bedtime for me tonight. Lucy is exhausted. She has been up late and then up early most of the time we were at Cayce's. She took a 3 hour nap when we got home and still went to bed at 8. I hope I can get her caught up on sleep.
We really had such a great time when we were staying with Cayce, Adam, and the boys. We got to spend some good, fun family time with Nana and Grandy. They were spoiling the kids with all kinds of attention. Lucy just adores both her Lee Lee and her Nana in such a special way. I love seeing her with her grandparents.
Here are a few other pictures from our family time. The swinging ones of Lucy are some of my all time faves. You can just see how happy and joyful she is in these.
So sweet!!

I love babies! And I love your baby pics. But most of all, I love those swing pictures!!!
Those 2 photos of Jaksen are gorgeous! They look so professional!
Kelly--Those babies are having such a great time with Nana and Grandy!! Lucy is in heaven while swinging!! The joy on her face!! Isn't it great that she and Austen are such good buds?? And Jaksen is gorgeous!!! We are all so blessed. Get some rest, pumpkin. Love and kisses, LeeLee
I absolutely adore the third photo down of Lucy. I hope you blow that up and frame it.
Oh, that little baby is too cute (all that hair!). I SOO wanted that kind of nekked baby butt shot when I had D's pictures professionally taken, but for some reason our photographer didn't get one - not sure if I miscommunicated or we just didn't have a chance (baby was not terribly cooperative), but awwww!
Could Austen look any more like his Grandy? So fun to have all these newborns around. Love the hair that is so ample it already has to be combed and parted! It makes him look so grown up and he's not even a week old! So precious!! As always, the pictures are fabulous.
Hi Kelly, could you give a little advice to an amateur? You take so many beautiful pic's of Lucy and of ALL the amazing kids in your life but there is 1 effect I just love. For example, the pic from behind in the wagon......I love how the outside of the pic is darker / smoky. Is there a term for that edit? When editing pic's of my kids I havn't gotten past crop and blk & wht. Could you help?? Please! :-)
sweet, sweet pictures.
love that naked baby bum!
GREAT photos, as always. I agree with you about the swing pics- looks like pure joy! They're really beautiful.
Kel, those are gorgeous pics of Jaksen! Hmmm, maybe we found a new calling for you--photographer extraordinare! I love seeing those dimples on Miss Lucy! Loves!
Hi Kelly, and thanks for the comment at my place! I'm glad you found the texture tutorial helpful. What a lot of babies in your life right now! I have a niece due almost any day now. You little girl is a sweetheart, and these swinging pictures are adorable. I really love her joyous expression in the 4th one.
How sweet!!! I love the pictures in the swing! And of course that sweet baby:)!!! Precious!
oh, kelly- those pics of Lucy are to die for- the sheer joy on her face- what a blessing to have captured those moments....
Oh My! Cuteness OVERLOAD!!!!
Kelly,
Oh My Goodness girl! I haven't been on your blog in a while. WOW you are taking some great pictures! Great job! Glad you guys are doing well. Hope I can see you next time you are in town.
Oh these are gorgeous shots. I especially love the ones with Lucy's dimple. Sofia has one too, but sometimes it is hard to tell unless she smiles in just the right way. We also have that adorable shirt. Gotta love Tarjay!
Hugs,
Jonni
