This weekend has been CRAZY, but in a really good kind of way. Staying at my parent's house was me and Lucy, all 3 of my sisters, my brother in law Adam, and my nephews John and Wyatt. We really missed Justin! I seriously love it when everyone is home. It is always so sad when everyone has to leave and go home. I miss my sissies!
Lucy has been a bit difficult this weekend. She has not wanted to play with John at all, but even worse, she has not wanted him to get close to her. Lucy is very much the kind of person who needs her own personal space. John loves to be close, and this has not been flying with Lucy. It has been frustrating for me. But, we had a HUGE breakthrough tonight. All of the sudden Lucy leaned in and gave John a hug. We all cheered and then they ran off holding hands. It was so great. They played together the rest of the night. I didn't even get any pictures because I didn't want to jinx the moment.

We are also with my extended family this week. I'm glad you're having such a good time, and that Lucy made a break-through with her cousin.
Aww, we've been through that before. Hopefully next time you are all together she will have forgotten about the desire to stay away from him and remember only running off holding hands :) What a sweet visual!

I love the family pics. I think my favorite is grandpa with all his grandbabies. Too sweet! I have to ask, what is the age difference between all the sisters? You all look so much alike and you also look crazy close together in age! (you have brave parents...my TWO girls run me in circles! :)
So cute Kel. You made me miss my family. I sure wish my parents and sibs were just a weekend roadtrip! Lucy cracks me up, but I know how hard that is when you REALLY REALLY want you kid to behave and love the people who mean the most to you...and then they just decide, for one reason or another (or no reason at all!) to be a little booger to someone. Jackson has a real knack for that. Glad she's warming up to John!
