Daddy's Girl

Thank you all for the really kind comments about Lucy's adoption video. I have watched it a million times and cry every time. The last song on the video was on the Grey's Anatomy season finale this week. Thought that was cool since it is not a really well known song. Justin is so great at picking music.

Here are some really precious pictures of Lucy hanging out with her daddy. I just love these pictures.

Helping Dad get set up

These things are fun to hold on to and dance!

I can make a ton of noise with this one

This is really fun, Dad!

Congratulations...she's a beauty.

We're partial to Lucys though. Our daughter is Lucinda...but we call her Lucy. Came home from Korea 3 1/2 years ago.

seriously, that girl's got the best dresses! what brands are your favorites? I'm onto the usual suspects (Baby Nay, Cakewalk, Tea Collection, Icky Baby, etc., but you've clearly got a great collection).

I didn't get a chance to comment on your video, but you did an amazing job! Can I hire you to do Sarah's (lol)? Poor girl, I never got around to getting all her pictures organized before brother arrived. Now it may be years... Love the dress and the hair bow.

I did notice that was a Grey's anatomy song...loved it! What band is your husband in? My husband loves music...wondering if it's something we've heard!

She is changing so much. And so quickly. She doesn't quite look like a baby anymore. However I think the real fun is just beginning.

I've been a long time lurker(I hate that term) of your blog and I had to finally comment and say thank you for sharing those touching videos. What a wonderful tribute you have made to your (breathtakingly) beautiful daughter. I LOVE reading your blog and relish in your happiness.

Kelly...I forgot to mention this on my previous post.

When Lucy came home...a friend of ours put together a CD of all Lucy/Lucinda songs. It was such a thoughtful gift and it's really good to boot.

If y'all are interested in a copy...let me know.

Hey Kelly,
just want to tell you what an incredible job you guys did with Lucy's adoption video. I have to admit, I've watched it 3 times. Even my husband watched it from start to finish (and he usually abstains from bloggerville out of principle, but not when it comes to Lucy!). I hope someday Jackson and Lucy can meet at a VORF picnic or something...they'd sure make a cute pair of buddies.
